ABOUT ME

I am Sara Freitas, a clinical and health psychologist, with a degree from the University of Aveiro and a master's degree from the Catholic University of Portugal, in addition to supplementary training in trauma, attachment, and brief psychotherapy. I work with adults, children, and parents facing moments of heightened vulnerability, anxiety, burnout, emotional difficulties, parenting challenges, or recurring relational patterns that fail to bring well-being.

My approach seeks a balance between clinical rigor and human connection. I listen to what you say, what your body expresses, and we search for what you haven't yet found words to say. I integrate Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with a systemic perspective, focusing on trauma and the use of artistic expression, because each journey is unique and deserves a tailored response.

Sessions can be online or in person, with schedules designed to fit your routine. If you have questions, curiosity, or simply want to understand if this is the right space for you, I'm just a message away. Feel free to contact me.
